Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school; bar admission; 5 years in federal court practice.
• Experience with litigation on behalf of the federal government is welcome; strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel to Philadelphia office twice per year; flexible for remote/hybrid work.

Responsibilities

• Review administrative records of proceedings to develop legal basis for challenges to adverse agency decisions
• Provide legal research and analysis on immigration issues in federal court
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents for filing with federal courts
• Prepare and conduct arguments before federal judges
• Represent clients in complex removal proceedings involving investment-based migration
• Present on federal court litigation options to internal and external audiences
• Work closely with the firm’s marketing manager on marketing and business development efforts
• Develop expert level understanding of your client base and administrative law principles as applied to immigration
• Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information and support client projects.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding procedural issues and case processing
