• Experience with federal personnel processing and payroll support is preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in HR data management.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate routine federal personnel actions, including appointments, promotions, reassignments, pay actions, corrections, transfers, and separations, following established procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain personnel records, electronic Official Personnel Files (eOPFs), position data, and organizational coding; support records audits, data reconciliations, and corrective actions to help ensure accurate HR information.
• Assist with payroll and compensation‑related actions, including pay setting, premium pay, leave‑related transactions, allowances, Service Computation Date (SCD) calculations, service credit determinations, and retroactive adjustments.
• Perform quality control checks on personnel, payroll, and records transactions; identify discrepancies and coordinate with senior staff, supervisors, or agency stakeholders to support timely resolution.
• Support employee debt management activities, including debt documentation, repayment agreement tracking, salary offset processing support, waiver package preparation, and related case file maintenance.
• Respond to routine inquiries and provide customer support to employees, managers, and HR staff on personnel processing, payroll, records management, and compensation matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
• Use agency HR, payroll, records management, and case management systems, including EHCM, DCPS, eOPF, and ServiceNow, to enter data, track workload, document case activity, generate routine reports, and maintain processing records.
• Assist with updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, reports, training materials, and process improvement documentation under the guidance of senior staff or management.
