Job summary

GuidePoint Security seeks an experienced Program Manager for federal cybersecurity programs. You will lead development, implementation, and communication of programs for government agencies, coordinating multi-functional teams, vendor selection, budgets and schedules, and delivering briefings to CISOs and executives.

Required 12+ years in project management with defense/public sector experience, active TS/SCI clearance, PMP, Security+, CSM, and ITIL knowledge; adept at leading cyber security

Qualifications

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance for consideration.
• 12+ years of direct Project Management experience.
• 12+ years of managing a technical team focused on Cyber Security or Operations; working on security products like SIEM/SOAR, IAM, endpoint protection, or cloud security.
• 7+ years of experience managing a program with over 10 people.
• 7+ years of experience in public sector/DOD/IC contract management.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent hands-on experience in software engineering or IT infrastructure.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
• Security+ Certification required.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification required.
• ITIL framework knowledge for IT infrastructure, development, and operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, time management, facilitation and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft Project/Atlassian Jira/Atlassian Confluence.
• Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Project Management – develop and maintain contract plans, project plans, resource needs, schedule and budget; collaborate across teams to define strategy and timelines.
• Subcontract Management – oversee subcontract engineering teams, manage funding and distribution, align subcontract and prime contracts.
• Leadership – lead cyber security engineering teams using PM methodologies; define scope, cost, success criteria and constraints.
• Deliver Solutions – design and implement global technologies to meet federal region needs; prioritize deployments.
• Business Requirements – collect requirements across regional partners, document configuration and integration specs, test plans and use cases.
• Implementation – rollout new/existing functionality to multiple agencies; deliver SOPs, workflow diagrams, training materials, post-launch support.
• Measurement – define progress metrics, establish reporting and KPIs; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Developing Team Capabilities – foster growth and opportunities beyond initial scope.
• Communication – manage project communications; brief executives and stakeholders.
