Job summary
GuidePoint Security, LLC is seeking a Program Manager to lead federal cybersecurity programs, from planning through execution, with direct interaction with CISOs and executives. You will coordinate multi-functional teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and deliver executive briefings and status updates.
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and extensive experience managing large, security-focused programs in the public sector.

- Active TS/SCI clearance required for consideration.
- 12+ years of direct Project Management experience.
- 12+ years managing a technical team in Cyber Security/Operations.
- 7+ years managing a Program with 10+ people.
- 7+ years in public sector/DOD/IC contract management.
- PMI PMP, Security+, and CSM certifications required.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain contract and project plans with budgets and schedules.
- Lead subcontract engineering teams and coordinate with prime contract holders.
- Guide multi-functional teams and align business strategy across stakeholders.
- Deliver briefings and status updates to senior government stakeholders and CISOs.

We are looking for a skilled Program Manager who will lead the development, implementation, and communication of cybersecurity programs for the federal government sector. Responsible to strategic thinking and alignment, stakeholder management and communication, and program planning and coordination. Coordinate multi-functional teams, guide vendor selection, oversee budgets and schedules. Deliver briefings, presentations, and project status updates to senior government stakeholders, CISOs, and C-suite executives.

- Project Management- Develop and maintain contract management plans, project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule and budget; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals, and commitment to timelines and deliverables.
- Subcontract Management - Manage subcontract engineering teams delivering cybersecurity projects, develop and maintain subcontract funding and distribution, lead inclusive integration of matrix teams, and align business strategy between subcontract and prime contract holders.
- Leadership- Lead teams of cyber security engineers delivering cybersecurity projects using established project management methodologies, define project scope, cost, success criteria, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints with stakeholders
- Deliver Solutions- Design and implement global technologies and services to meet the Federal Region's business needs; manage development teams on system design and gap analysis, in addition to prioritization of critical strategic components of the deployments.
- Business Requirements- Coordinate the collection of business requirements across multiple regional partners, including the documentation of system configuration and integration specifications, test plans and use cases.
- Implementation- Direct the rollout of new and existing functionality to multiple agencies including delivery of standard operating procedures, workflow diagrams, training materials and post-launch support resources.
- Measurement- Develop measures to define progress and success; establish ongoing reporting requirements and key performance indicators for confirming return on investment; maintain project budgets and forecasts.
- Developing Team Capabilities- Work at an individual and team level to develop project growth and opportunities beyond initial project scope.
- Communication- Own all project communications to project members and stakeholders on progress, issues, and risks including regular status updates and periodic white paper analysis; ability to brief C-suite executives, CISOs, security analysts, and compliance officers.
- MUST have an active TS/SCI clearance for consideration
- 12+ years of direct Project Management experience.
- 12+ years of managing a technical team focused on Cyber Security or Operations; working directly on security products like (SIEM/SOAR, IAM, endpoint protection, or cloud security.)
- 7+ years of experience managing a Program with over 10 people
- 7+ years of experience in public sector/DOD/IC contract management
- A BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent hands‑on experience in software engineering or IT infrastructure.
- Required Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Required Security+ Certification
- Required Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification
- Knowledge and awareness of the certification in the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework standards for information technology (IT) infrastructure, development, and operations
- Demonstrated exceptional leadership, communication, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Microsoft Project/Atlassian Jira/Atlassian Confluence
- Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomes
- SAFe Certification
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
- Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt +)
- ITIL 4 Foundations Certification or equivalent
- Hybrid staffing model - expect 50% onsite within 50 miles of the National Capitol Region
