GuidePoint Security seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to lead architecture and design of cyber solutions for federal networks, aligning with strategy and market trends. You will implement security patterns, drive cloud and identity security, and guide executives through transformation.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years in cybersecurity, and 5+ years in network design, with the ability to translate objectives into implementable plans.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• 8+ years in Cybersecurity with leading technical project delivery for large organizations.
• 5+ years in network architecture and design.
• Experience with Zero Trust architectures and DoD guidance (NIST 800-207, DoD Zero Trust).
• Experience leading product selection: perimeter, zero trust, A&O, AI, analytics, DevOps security, IAM.
• Ability to guide senior leaders (CISO, CIO, CTO) and executives on maturation plans.
• Education: degree parity options as listed; DoD CSSP-IS and IAT awards possible.

Responsibilities

• Leads architecture and design of innovative cybersecurity solutions for federal clients.
• Translates objectives into engineering outcomes using Systems Engineering Life Cycle.
• Coordinates with thought leaders to select tools and techniques for secure solutions.
• Directs network and system design to balance security and mission needs.
• Oversees security domains including IoT, Cloud, A&O, IAM, and ML-based analytics.
