Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Contract Administrator to oversee the full lifecycle of federal government contracts from drafting through closeout. You will ensure FAR compliance, coordinate with finance for billing and revenue tracking, and serve as a liaison across internal teams and external partners.

The role is hybrid based in Bethesda, MD, offering remote work early in the engagement and contract-to-hire opportunities. Strong attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of federal government contracting experience, contract management focus.
• Knowledge of FAR and GSA compliance requirements.
• Experience drafting contracts, subcontract and team agreements.
• Familiarity with federal contracting systems and tracking of contract data.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of complex client and partner agreements from initiation to closeout.
• Monitor obligations, milestones, timelines, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in extensions, modifications, and renewals while enforcing policies.
• Maintain contract records, metrics, and financial data.
• Review and negotiate language to clearly define deliverables and success metrics.
• Coordinate with finance and operations on billing, revenue recognition, and budget.
