Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent assignments.
• Experience in writing, editing, communications, or review of professional materials.
• Strong written communication: clarity, grammar, organization, completeness.
• Experience managing multiple assignments and stakeholders with effective communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
• Strong organizational and project management skills under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with electronic document management and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the FEMA directorate's primary entry point for inquiries and information requests.
• Review, edit, and quality-control materials for templates and agency standards.
• Draft, edit, and refine correspondence and memoranda for information requests.
• Review materials for accuracy, perform fact-checking and clarify issues.
• Communicate professionally with agency staff during coordination and approvals.
• Work with subject matter experts to gather information and set response timelines.
• Review policies to ensure compliance with agency requirements.
• Track assignments through completion using procedures and systems.
• Coordinate review, approval, and signatures by leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure final products are clear, concise, and audience-appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
