Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises seeks a Business Development Manager for FNR to lead BD efforts, capture, and proposals in a remote setting. You will shape opportunities spanning technology incubation, ranges, and RDT&E environments to accelerate delivery to warfighters and the IC.

The role requires a decade of federal BD experience, strong customer engagement, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, non-traditional acquisition strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field and 10+ years of technical or business experience.
• 10 years of U.S. Federal Government BD, capture, and proposal management experience.
• Proven track record in federal capture and proposal management under compressed timelines.
• Strong analytical skills related to BD and capture management; knowledge of government procurement practices.
• Technical fluency to operate in Innovation and Experimentation, RDT&E environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead an FNR BD portfolio to execute growth strategies and milestones.
• Shape opportunities around incubation of technologies and solutions for warfighter/IC.
• Manage full life-cycle BD and capture activities including opportunity ID, pricing, and contract readiness.
• Maintain a competitive, sustainable DoW/IC-aligned pipeline across mission requirements.
• Qualify opportunities and lead BD and capture through lifecycle, including rapid turn opportunities.
• Translate customer problems into integrated offerings and articulate support for missions.
• Execute rapid OTA responses and quick-turn proposals within tight timelines.
• Analyze RFPs/SOWs, respond to RFIs, and develop winning capture strategies.
• Collaborate with VP BD and AVP Proposal Management on proposal plans.
• Negotiate teaming agreements and workshare with partners and range operators.
• Support price-to-win analyses and ensure cohesive proposal responses.
