Job summary

U.P. KIDS is seeking a part-time Family Assistance Worker to support at-risk youth and families across the central UP. The role is primarily remote with a home office in Ironwood and requires travel with mileage reimbursement or company vehicle.

The worker will engage in a range of services including parenting skills, home management, money management, nutrition education, and documentation for the case manager. Prior experience with children and families is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of human services experience, preferably with children.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services to support reunification of birth families and children in foster care.
• Services delivered in the family home, agency office, or other mutually agreed locations.
• Model, demonstrate, assist, and supervise parenting skills and related activities.
• Prepare and submit reports to the case manager in a timely manner.
• Attend and testify in court when required.
