Ideal candidates will have 6+ months of coding experience, AHIMA or AAPC certification, and proficiency with EMR and billing systems. Remote work, with adherence to privacy and security policies, is required.

Qualifications

• Coders must be certified through AAPC or AHIMA (CPC/COC or CCS/CCS-P).
• Minimum 6 months on-the-job coding experience.
• Proficient with CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to communicate professionally and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest specificity.
• Accurately code using CPT, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS.
• Interpret coding guidelines for accurate code assignment.
• Maintain productivity of 95% or higher and quality score of 95% or higher.
• Work from home with independent coding skills.
• Ensure privacy and security of patient information.
