Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to join our team. You will provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties, either Professional Fee or Facility, and work from home with independence in your coding.

You will ensure accuracy and productivity targets, align with AHIMA's ethical standards, and maintain current CPT and ICD references. Strong communication and reliable internet are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P).
• Experience coding CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM across multiple specialties.
• Ability to work from home with strong independent coding skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding for Professional Fee or Facility encounters.
• Code across specialties such as Primary Care, Urgent Care, General Surgery, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics and more.
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest level of specificity.
• Interpret coding guidelines and assess documentation impact on reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding and Company Code of Ethics.
• Maintain privacy and security of patient information per regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain credentials through AAPC or AHIMA.
