Job summary

Infinx is seeking a Remote Certified Professional Coder for a part-time role (20–30 hours/week) to improve charge capture accuracy. You will review hospital charges, support clinical documentation, and work with coding leadership on education and denials prevention.

Ideal candidates have AHIMA/AAPC certification, Epic experience, 1+ year of medical coding, and strong MS Office skills. Remote work available across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (AHIMA or AAPC) with CPT/ICD coding proficiency.
• Experience with Epic EHR and MS Office applications.
• 1+ year of medical coding experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding.

Responsibilities

• Comply with coding procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits and coding reviews for accuracy.
• Assign CPT, ICD, and DX codes for services.
• Collaborate with billing to ensure timely claims and payments.
• Communicate coding issues with providers and payers.
• Monitor coding data and denial trends for process improvement.
• Liaise with revenue cycle and clients regarding charge capture and documentation.
