Job summary

Discovery Senior Living seeks an experienced facilities operations leader for a remote role with significant travel (50–75%). You will coordinate capital projects, budgets, and vendor activities across multiple communities, ensuring construction quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a strong background in facility operations, project management, and regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience and a Bachelor’s or technical degree.

Qualifications

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate clearly before groups of customers and employees.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand design discipline plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan, report, set goals, and assist with recruitment for key positions.
• Monitor owner supplied vendors and budgets.
• Assist with Cap-ex review on existing properties.
• Monitor capital construction progress schedules.
• Coordinate contractor activities and develop capital work scope.
• Prepare internal and external reports on project status.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure campus compliance during inspections.
