Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Configuration Manager for a remote position within the United States. You will drive end-to-end configuration delivery for healthcare payer implementations, platform transformations, and regulatory initiatives across multiple Facets areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, healthcare, or business.
• 10+ years in healthcare payer technology, implementation, configuration, or delivery.
• 5+ years leading Facets configuration teams or large-scale implementations.
• Strong knowledge of payer operations, claims, and product management across lines of business.
• Experience with enterprise implementations, platform migrations, or regulatory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration delivery across Facets functional areas: Membership, Group, Product & Benefits, Provider, Claims, Workflow, Billing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Translate business, operational, contractual, and regulatory requirements into scalable configuration solutions.
• Establish and govern configuration standards, design controls, traceability, quality reviews, and approval frameworks.
• Manage configuration scope, timelines, estimates, dependencies, releases, and readiness activities.
• Oversee configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and production support across complex transformations.
• Drive solution reviews, impact assessments, defect resolution, risk mitigation, and release management.
• Provide leadership and allocate work for onsite and offshore teams, fostering collaboration.
• Partner with business, compliance, operations, technology, vendors, and client stakeholders for alignment.
• Deliver executive reporting, governance updates, and delivery metrics for decision-making.
• Support production stabilization, root-cause analysis, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
