Zusammenfassung

FlexTG is seeking a Fabric Platform Engineer to design, build, and support the organization’s Microsoft Fabric data platform. You will focus on scalable data architectures, pipelines, and platform capabilities to support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with Data Analysts, DBAs, Data Governance teams, and other stakeholders to deliver trusted, analytics-ready datasets while ensuring governance, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Data Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse.
• Proven experience designing and building data platforms or large-scale data systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python/PySpark and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of data modeling, including Medallion architectures, data governance and security.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and support the ongoing operation of the Microsoft Fabric data platform, applying architecture patterns, governance practices, and platform standards.
• Support the buildout and evolution of the Fabric environment, including workspace structure and deployment patterns.
• Design and operate end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) within Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop scalable ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
• Orchestrate ingestion using Azure Data Factory and Fabric pipelines, landing data into OneLake.
• Implement batch and near real-time processing pipelines.
• Transform and manage data through the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Apply standards for data modeling, storage, transformation, and platform usage.
