Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Project Specialist for Extraction & Product Development to support the corporate Extraction & Formulation team. This remote role focuses on managing key projects, driving process improvements, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives in the CPG space.

You will analyze root causes, develop solutions, and train teams while maintaining strong partnerships with Product Development, Quality, Compliance, and Operations. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a project management or coordinator role, preferably in a regulated Extraction & Formulation/CPG environment.
• Experience communicating procedures, timelines and outputs to multiple stakeholders.
• Proven track record managing large-scale Extraction & Formulation projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for operations programs focused on Extraction & Formulation.
• Coordinate continuous improvement projects to build capabilities and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Development, PM, Quality, Compliance, Operations).
• Act as central contact for GMs, Regional Directors and Senior Leaders on timelines and outputs.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to support initiatives.
• Assist in developing and delivering training programs for Extraction & Formulation teams.
• Drive end-to-end project progress, escalate risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate document control and disseminate updated documents.
• Follow GMP, biosecurity, and sanitation requirements.
