Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an External Wholesaler for Retirement Plan Services to develop and implement a strategic sales plan in the southern Texas region. You will build and maintain relationships with firms and institutions, drive revenue growth, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing from sale to issuance.

The role requires 3-5 years of external financial services sales, FINRA licenses, and a Bachelor’s degree, with the ability to reside in the assigned sales

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' external sales experience in financial services.
• FINRA SIE, 6, 63, L&H licenses or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds and directs a complex relationship platform by identifying senior contacts within targeted firms.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance.
• Conducts firm/institution meetings to achieve sales targets (due diligence meetings, one-on-one meetings, sponsorship and speaking opportunities).
• Develops understanding of existing/targeted firms and value propositions so they are recognized by them.
• Maintains a complex sales program to increase revenue and market share in the territory.
• Increases penetration in the territory by growing relationships with larger firms/institutions.
• Maintains sales call data in systems and completes sales reports.
• Meets or exceeds department/sales goals for the territory.
