Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking an External Wholesaler for MoneyGuard Insurance to develop and execute a business plan, build relationships with Edward Jones brokerage sales, and drive growth in assigned territories, including remote work arrangements.

You will conduct meetings, understand firms, and manage external wholesale programs to increase revenue and market share while complying with policies and staying within budget.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of external sales experience in financial services.
• FINRA Series SIE, 6, 63, Life and Health designations preferred or required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Analytical skills and close attention to detail to determine proper processing of investment documents.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds and directs a complex relationship platform by identifying senior contacts within targeted firms to drive profitable sales.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure proper processing of all sold products from sale to issuance.
• Conducts firm/institution meetings and in-person meetings to achieve sales targets.
• Develops understanding of existing/targeted firms and market segments to articulate Lincoln's value proposition.
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive sales program to increase revenue and market share in the territory.
• Increases penetration by growing relationships within existing firms/institutions.
• Maintains sales call data in systems and completes sales reports.
• Meets or exceeds department/sales goals for the territory.
• Uses budgets to maximize sales opportunities and manage expenses.
• Supports cross-sell and portfolio growth across Lincoln's products.
