Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group External wholesaler for Retirement Plan Services develops and maintains a business plan to achieve sales and growth goals in Southern Texas. You will build, direct, and maintain relationships with firms and institutions and create wholesale programs to increase revenue and market share in the assigned territory.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper processing from sale to issuance, conduct meetings to hit targets, and grow knowledge of target

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of external sales experience in financial services.
• FINRA SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and Life & Health licenses.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must reside in the sales territory.
• Analytical skills and close attention to detail for investment documents.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds and directs complex relationship platform with senior contacts in target firms.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure proper processing from sale to issuance.
• Conducts firm meetings to achieve sales targets.
• Develops understanding of target firms and market segments.
• Maintains and expands external wholesale sales programs to grow revenue.
• Penetrates territory by nurturing existing and new relationships.
• Maintains sales call data and reports.
• Meets or exceeds sales targets.
• Manages expense budgets to optimize opportunities.
• Supports growth across Lincoln's product offerings and cross-sell opportunities.
• Adheres to Lincoln's Culture of Compliance and policies.
