Job summary

University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) is seeking an Export Control Coordinator I, II, or III to oversee the UNL Export Control Program within the Office of Research Compliance, Integrity, and Security. Responsibilities include applying regulations, training administrators and staff, and ensuring compliance for EAR/ITAR related research.

The role may be remote per university policy and involves collaboration with NSRI, policy interpretation, and multi‑tasking in a regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience at a research university or a clinical or regulatory environment; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong decision‑making, planning, and organizational skills.
• Solid presentation, negotiation, problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and meeting management skills.
• Understanding of policy and procedure interpretation and implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex multi‑tasking environment.
