UC OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT is seeking an experienced export control professional to lead systemwide compliance, training, and licensing across UCOP and campuses. The role requires coordinating with General Counsel, Risk Services and IT to implement NSPM-33 and CHIPS-related obligations, educating stakeholders and maintaining comprehensive licensing records.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of export control regulations (EAR, ITAR, OFAC) and related compliance.
• Experience in educating and training across an audience of varied stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior management and administrators.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with diverse groups.

Responsabilidades

• Supports and models an integrated export control compliance program based on UC policy and federal requirements.
• Develops and delivers export control education and training programs for UCOP, campuses and locations.
• Maintains systemwide ITAR licensing, records, procedures, and registration processes; submits licenses as needed.
• Organizes cross-functional collaboration to raise maturity of compliance programs and reduce risk.
• Provides communication and guidance to resolve issues and meet regulatory requirements across the system.
• Develops metrics and conducts export control risk assessments to prioritize improvements.
