Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Exploration Project Manager to oversee our client\'s exploration program. The role is fully remote, with collaboration across field teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, and oversee budgets, schedules, and safety compliance.

You will manage complex exploration projects from inception to completion, applying geological and geophysical data interpretation, risk management, and financial oversight while communicating progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 7+ years in mining/exploration with at least 3 years in project management.
• Experience managing complex exploration projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of exploration methodologies, resource estimation, and project economics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for exploration programs.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies across various locations.
• Oversee the acquisition and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in all project activities.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, financial updates, and technical findings to senior leadership.
