Job summary

Dentsu is seeking an Associate Manager to oversee nightlife and retail consumer engagement programs in-market. You will recruit and train Educators and Influencers, coordinate staff pools, and ensure compliant event execution across multiple hubs.

You will handle POS coordination, data entry in activation platforms, payroll and expense processing, and stay current on state alcohol laws. This role supports a fast-paced marketing environment with in-person and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in field / promotional marketing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Promotional experience in Wine and Spirits is preferred.
• Able to effectively source candidates to ensure a match to the position/organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Proficiency in MacOS operating system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage Educators and Influencers for event execution in market.
• Train staff on brands, programs, consumer engagement, and execution excellence.
• Manage staff pools to support volume and business needs.
• Manage POS coordination and warehouse management for local event activity.
• Ensure proper coordination, kitting, and utilization of POS.
• Enter, maintain, and review event data in activation platforms.
• Ensure event reporting is entered accurately in the online database.
• Manage staff payroll and expense processes as well as Travel and Entertainment expenses.
• Understand local alcohol laws and regulations relative to state sampling laws.
• Attend, monitor, and evaluate events to improve quality.
