Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks an Expat Client Relationship Professional to support the international expat business and remote service clients.

You will coordinate client workflow and communications and assist Expat Tax Advisors as needed, ensuring timely responses and a smooth experience through phone, email, and our software platform. You will act as the primary contact for client inquiries, maintain records, help set up accounts, and oversee end-to-end processes from inquiry to filing while

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the business and day-to-day tasks.
• Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Suite applications.
• 1 year minimum related work experience.
• Ability to acknowledge areas of uncertainty and to pose questions to the team.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-up to maximize conversion from inquiries to paid clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of communication for all client inquiries and respond within 48 business hours.
• Maintain records for all client inquiries in the expat software or other systems.
• Assist clients with setting up accounts and virtual folders in the software platform.
• Oversee client workflow and communication including inquiry, engagement signature, document upload, payment, and filing; ensure a great client experience.
• Follow up with inquiries to maximize conversion to a paid client.
• Provide administrative support through collaboration with Expat Tax Advisors; include communicating with clients and processing documents.
• Communicate consistently with Client Relationship Professionals and Expat Tax Advisors in the US, Canada, and India.
