Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through education and work experience.
• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney (Circular 230) or willing to obtain within one year.
• 5 years of experience in tax preparation and/or tax research.
• Ability to lead remote teams using virtual tools and clear communication.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication for remote service offerings.
• Ability to review data-related reports and drive informed actions with the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-quality U.S. tax preparation, planning, and audit representation for expatriate clients.
• Manage a book of business for U.S. expatriate clients in devoted countries.
• Conduct new client interviews and analyze international tax issues for tax returns.
• Follow guidelines for review and referral of tax returns.
• Develop client acquisition plans and seek new clients through referrals.
• Participate in hiring decisions and manage team productivity targets.
• Review team work and conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage overall tax preparation workflow to meet timelines and client service standards.
• Research tax positions relevant to dedicated countries with regional leadership.
• Prepare tax returns for complex cases when necessary.
• Provide tax research support for complex issues.
• Attend training and ongoing continuing education.
