Job summary

CAI is seeking an Executive Director, Service Delivery - Public Sector to lead delivery for State and Local government accounts nationwide. You will drive service quality, oversee end-to-end delivery, and support business development while traveling 25–30% as needed.

The role demands strong relationship management, governance of SLA-based engagements, and strategic guidance for complex public sector projects and RFP responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or related field.
• 5-7+ years in IT account management, technical sales or delivery in public sector.
• Direct oversight and/or delivery of large public sector initiatives.
• Experience with public sector procurement: RFPs, cooperative contracts, SLAs.
• Strong background in managing customer expectations and relationships.
• Understanding of IT service issues: productivity, performance, SLAs, SDLC.
• Ability to shape and position RFPs; strong communication to stakeholders.
• Comfort with fast-paced, changing environments and 25–30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery organization to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Own end-to-end day-to-day delivery across all public sector accounts.
• Support vertical sales, business development and new relationships nationwide.
• Provide strategic guidance for major projects and RFP responses.
• Coordinate assessments, transitions, and escalation points for delivery teams.
• Collaborate with Sales for proposals, scoping and SOW creation.
