Job summary

CAI is seeking an Executive Director, Service Delivery - Public Sector to lead delivery for State and Local government accounts nationwide. This full-time, remote role requires 25-30% travel and focuses on ensuring high-quality services and growth across the public sector.

The role supports vertical sales, business development, and building new customer relationships at a national level, with accountability for end-to-end delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field preferred.
• 5-7+ years in IT Account Manager, Technical sales or Technical Delivery in a public sector environment.
• Experience with direct oversight and/or delivery of large public sector initiatives.
• Public sector procurement experience: RFP cycles, cooperative contracts, and SLA-based managed services.
• Strong relationship-building and client expectation management skills.
• Experience with IT service issues and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery organization to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery across all accounts in the vertical.
• Identify expansion and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
• Provide strategic advice to customer stakeholders and senior consultants.
• Support Sales with presentations, briefings, and customer calls.
• Provide project scoping support and SOW creation.
