Job summary

Trustmark is seeking an Executive Director, Product Strategy and Execution for Disability, Leave, Dental and Vision. The role leads development through research, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver a competitive health product portfolio.

Responsibilities include shaping strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and guiding execution with field partners. Strong emphasis on market leadership, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance to sustain growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of experience in industry with some experience across product development, product management and implementation.
• Experience developing or managing voluntary and/or group products.
• Ability to lead/influence without direct oversight.
• Proven ability to develop and revise strategy and tactics to propel business growth.
• Ability to analyze and interpret challenging concepts and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to inspire, lead, and coach both leaders and employees.
• Experience working collaboratively across the organization to build consensus and synergies that support attainment of division goals, handle conflicts, negotiate, and promote team spirit.
• Must be innovative and creative in looking for ways to improve current processes.
• Integrity and strength of character.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health product portfolio is top tier in market and identify portfolio gaps.
• Build relationships in the voluntary benefits marketplace and track evolving trends.
• Communicate product value across teams and channels to support field sales.
• Lead end-to-end product development including research, design, pricing and implementation.
• Assess risks and required resources for bringing new products to market.
• Set budgets and operational plans for products under development and management.
• Develop health product claims strategy and customer experience improvements.
• Manage external vendor relationships and lead partner selection processes.
• Own product strategy from concept to market with data-driven insights.
