Job summary

Discover Technologies seeks an Exchange Technical Lead to oversee on-premises Exchange environments from a remote location. You will lead technical staff, review changes, and ensure health and performance of Exchange 2019 ecosystems.

You will script mailbox usage, maintain documentation, handle incident tickets, and implement security patches. Strong collaboration with ISSO and change control processes is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in maintaining, configuring, patching and upgrading on premise exchange components.
• Experience with Exchange 2019 and related on-prem components (Web Application Proxy, AD FS, Azure AD Connect).
• Knowledge of mailbox management, retention policies, SMTP relay and mailbox restores.

Responsibilities

• Present and lead meetings; oversee and peer review technical staff.
• Maintain, configure, patch and upgrade Exchange on-premise components.
• Track and report mailbox usage with PowerShell.
• Develop and update operations and maintenance documentation.
• Provide daily ticket support and detailed journaling.
• Handle retention policies, SMTP relay requests and mailbox restores.
• Review security vulnerabilities and coordinate change requests.
