Job summary

Samsara seeks an energetic events professional to manage its annual customer conference, Beyond, and other hosted events. You will oversee end-to-end production from run-of-show to speaker management, coordinating with internal teams and a production vendor onsite.

This remote role requires travel up to 30% across the US, a 3+ year track record in event management, and a Bachelor's degree. Experience with AI tools to improve efficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in event management/production
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• This role requires travel, candidates must be open to traveling 30% of the time
• Experience using AI tools to work more efficiently

Responsibilities

• Coordinate keynote and breakout planning and execution across key internal stakeholders, Samsara’s main production vendor and venue partners.
• Support content production by building timelines, scheduling rehearsals, sourcing vehicles and equipment, and managing exec schedules and internal/external speakers.
• Review venue contracts to ensure production needs are being met.
• Assist in managing expo production needs including coordinating details between internal stakeholders, vendors, and the venue.
• Oversee multiple events and programs with overlapping schedules.
• Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to build a successful event experience.
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices.
