Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a physician practice setting in a remote capacity. The RN will assess patients, assist with procedures, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN with RN licensure and NCLEX-RN certification, with ambulatory care experience and a BSN preferred. Strong triage, education, and care coordination skills are required.

Qualifications

• ADN is required for the role.
• BSN is preferred but not required.
• Current RN license in the state is required (NCLEX-RN).
• Ambulatory care experience is preferred.
• AMB-BC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic.
• Assess patients, assist with examinations and procedures, and administer medications.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and continuity of care with physicians and staff.
• Maintain clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Support population health outreach and care coordination.
