Job summary

Hungryroot is seeking an entry-level Fulfillment Systems Associate to monitor our fulfillment platform during evening hours, investigate issues, and be the first contact for our fulfillment sites. You don’t need to be a software engineer; you’ll use AI tools like Claude and Cursor to diagnose problems and perform small fixes in Python/Django, growing into bigger responsibilities over time.

This is an entry-level role welcoming new grads, internships, and project experience, with remote work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Exposure to fulfillment, warehouse, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) and ability to review code.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fulfillment systems, integrations, and site requests during evening hours.
• Investigate stuck or failed orders, inventory mismatches, and shipping issues using SQL, logs, and AI-assisted tools.
• Use AI-assisted coding to read and understand Python/Django code, fix issues, and build scripts.
• Escalate complex issues with a clear summary and next steps.
• Document fixes and improve runbooks to prevent recurring issues.
• Support building new features, reporting, and process improvements during the day.
