Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Talent & People Specialist to join a fully remote, Europe-wide team. The role blends talent acquisition with HR operations across Tech, Product, Data, Growth, Finance and more, with around 40 hires annually.

You will manage interviews, onboarding, payroll via Deel, and HR administration while driving process improvements and AI-enabled solutions across distributed teams in Europe.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional HR experience.
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is advantageous.
• Experience across talent acquisition and HR operations, or a strong motivation to expand from one area into the other.
• Hands-on experience conducting HR interviews and managing recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with ATS, ideally Teamtailor, and/or HRIS such as Deel.
• Strong familiarity with Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace.
• Curiosity about AI tools, automation, and opportunities to make People processes more efficient.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and implement solutions independently.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage candidates and clearly communicate opportunities.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling HR and payroll information.
• Fluent French, as this is the primary working language; English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR interviews, assessing candidate motivation, communication, potential, and alignment with the organisation’s working environment.
• Partner with hiring managers throughout recruitment processes, including role scoping, follow-ups, feedback, and process coordination.
• Manage and maintain the recruitment pipeline in the ATS, including candidate tracking, scorecards, follow-ups, and reporting.
• Ensure a smooth, transparent, and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through interviews, offers, and constructive rejection feedback.
• Present the organisation, its products, culture, working model, and growth opportunities to prospective candidates.
• Own pre-onboarding and onboarding activities, covering administrative processes and the employee experience in the first days/weeks.
• Continuously improve key employee touchpoints by gathering feedback and implementing improvements.
• Administer HR and payroll processes through Deel across multiple entities, including payroll, leave, absences, and expenses.
• Coordinate employee equipment lifecycle, including delivery, access management, and recovery.
• Maintain internal mailing lists and collaboration tools; coordinate external partners.
