Job summary

Globaltize is seeking an Estimator & Operations Coordinator for a part-time, 20-hour-per-week position based remotely in Latin America. The role supports pre-construction and day-to-day operations, preparing estimates, performing takeoffs, coordinating bids, and maintaining project records and workflows.

The ideal candidate will read plans, use estimating software, draft bids, track opportunities, and assist with invoicing and admin tasks while collaborating directly with the business owner.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing construction estimates for drywall, metal stud framing, interior finishing, or related scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Proficiency with estimating software and common office tools.
• Strong organizational skills in office administration, project coordination, or operations support.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, dimensions, and scope requirements to prepare accurate construction estimates.
• Perform detailed material takeoffs and compile project material lists.
• Utilize estimating software to organize labor, materials, quantities, and final project pricing.
• Draft, review, and submit formal bids and proposals to general contractors and clients.
• Communicate with clients and general contractors regarding bid questions, updates, and follow-ups.
• Track submitted bids, proposal statuses, and project opportunities.
• Maintain organized project files, documentation, and administrative records.
• Support invoicing processes and assist with accounts receivable follow-up.
• Coordinate directly with the business owner to manage priorities and ensure smooth operational workflows.
• Assist with additional administrative and project coordination tasks as needed.
