Job summary

Waldrop Construction is seeking a Mid-Level Estimator for a full-time remote role based in LATAM. You will perform detailed takeoffs, prepare time-sensitive cost estimates, and manage bid documentation while coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 3–6+ years of US-project estimating experience, strong reading of drawings/specs, and fluency in English. This position supports pre-construction through bid prep with a lean team structure.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Proven experience estimating U.S. construction projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work U.S. Central Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates for bids.
• Prepare bid documentation and respond to RFQs.
• Review subcontractor submittals against drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors in pre-construction.
• Support pre-construction communications and documentation.
• Manage multiple estimating and pre-construction tasks.
• Review plans and project requirements to identify scope and quantities.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation.
• Work with construction software and digital workflows.
