Job summary

First American is seeking an Escrow Advisor for its Homebuilder Services team. This remote role in the United States supports escrow operations, guiding officers and coordinating training while ensuring compliance with laws and guidelines.

You will audit files, manage an audit program, and collaborate with the advisory group to address gaps, trainings, and rate changes, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• 5-7 years as Escrow Officer or related work experience.
• Experience with multiple escrow types (commercial, bulk, mobile home, new home/subdivision).
• FAST knowledge preferred.
• Strong customer interfacing skills and written communication.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise Escrow Officers on transactions, documents, and guidelines.
• Stay updated on laws, trends, and escrow issues; summarize findings for management.
• Report gaps and communicate guidelines to escrow staff.
• Coordinate with training staff to deliver training.
• Audit escrow files and manage an escrow audit program.
• Support special projects and regulatory inquiries.
• Act as FACC SME/Liaison; test rates and manage override reports.
• Disseminate and review override reports to escrow admins.
