Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an ERTS Project Manager II to scope, quote and execute emergency spill responses safely and efficiently for a defined client group. This role provides full project management and supervision for successful performance and completion of projects in a remote capacity.

You will lead field teams, coordinate with clients and regulators, ensure compliance with safety rules, log data, and drive timely closures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience or equivalent may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, quotes and execution for emergency spill responses.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure timely, compliant spill cleanups while controlling costs.
• Create and manage remedial work including scope of work and RFQ validation.
• Log client interactions into ALERT system accurately and timely.
• Ensure DOT, OSHA, safety rules and site-specific safety plans are followed.
• Review subcontractor work orders and invoices for accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with contractors and regulatory officials.
• Monitor field operations and site closures.
