Job summary

Arcticom LLC is seeking an ERP Test Engineer for a remote role. You will serve as a database testing authority, shaping a TDD-driven path for MilPDS Oracle code, packaging, and schema updates. The role emphasizes automated test suites, test data generation, and ensuring transactional isolation.

The candidate will architect database APIs, integrate tests into CI/CD, and help gate releases with quality metrics. US citizenship and SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in database engineering, software quality engineering, or test automation, including Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices at the database or application layer.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to attain SECRET security clearance.
• Preference for experience with automated database testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate contractor-delivered MilPDS Oracle database code and PL/SQL packages.
• Design a roadmap to transition to Test-Driven Development at the database layer.
• Architect strategies to extract business rules into modular database APIs.
• Develop automated database test routines and unit/integration tests.
