Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional, part of RELX, is seeking a Functional Consultant to partner with external clients, analyze business requirements, configure ERP solutions and support successful implementations. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into functional specifications, supporting testing activities, and helping end users maximize value from enterprise applications.

Qualifications

Equivalent work experience providing knowledge of fundamentals, principles and practices.
Sequel software experience as a core requirement.
Ability to anticipate objections and influence others to adopt different viewpoints.
Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Ability to work independently with guidance only on the most complex situations.
Ability to train and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

Customizing and implementing appropriate applications for external clients.
Analyzing client needs and designing business process requirements.
Translating business requirements into off-the-shelf and customization specifications.
Testing, documenting, and training client personnel on functional applications.
Guiding others in resolving complex issues based on existing solutions and procedures.
