Job summary

Northern Virginia Community College seeks an ERP Business Process Analyst to support the PeopleSoft Financials environment and related integrations. You will liaise between business units, VCCS offices, and technical teams to analyze, document, configure, test, and improve financial processes in the on‑prem PeopleSoft setup.

You will contribute to testing, reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and ensuring compliance with policy

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and solve problems in computer software set-ups.
• Ability to translate business needs into system configuration and enhancement requirements.
• Experience with testing and documenting ERP-related processes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and evaluate PeopleSoft Financials and related integrations.
• Serve as SME for financial processes and system configuration.
• Generate and modify reports to support budgets and student financials.
• Identify gaps between delivered PeopleSoft functionality and requirements.
• Develop functional specs and assist with config and upgrades.
• Participate in unit, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on policy implications of system design.
• Prepare user and business process documentation and training materials.
• Provide second-level ERP Finance support to Help Desk escalations.
• Support ERP modernization and data quality initiatives.
