Job summary

NOVA, formally Northern Virginia Community College, seeks an ERP Business Process Analyst to support the PeopleSoft Financials environment and related integrations. This role operates as a liaison between business units, NVCC system offices, and technical teams to analyze, document, configure, test, and improve financial processes in the on-prem Peoplesoft Financials setup.

The position requires delivering functional specifications, assisting with upgrades, and coordinating testing activities,

Qualifications

Experience in providing production support to end-users on PeopleSoft modules.
Experience conducting business process analysis, requirements gathering, and functional testing.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Analyze, document, and evaluate PeopleSoft Financials and related integration processes to ensure alignment with business needs and system capabilities.
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned financial business processes and translate business needs into system configuration and enhancement requirements.
Help generate reporting requirements and modify PeopleSoft reports to user specifications.
Identify gaps between delivered PeopleSoft functionality and operational requirements; recommend process or system improvements.
Develop functional specifications and assist with system configuration, enhancements, and upgrades in partnership with VCCS and technical teams.
Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
