Job description

Miami Dade College (MDC) is seeking an experienced Lead ERP Systems Analyst (PeopleSoft) to support and enhance the College’s PeopleSoft ERP environment. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to stakeholders across the institution—driving system improvements, solving complex challenges, and ensuring the efficiency of critical business processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead functional support activities for PeopleSoft ERP applications
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues by tracing PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Packages, and related objects
• Configure and maintain system tables while optimizing functional modules
• Evaluate system customizations and assess impact during patches and upgrades
• Partner with functional owners to identify opportunities to enhance business processes using PeopleSoft capabilities
• Perform fit/gap analysis for new or existing solutions
• Collaborate with developers to deliver Tier II production support, reports, queries, and workflows
• Mentor and guide junior system analysts while contributing leadership to projects
• Develop and maintain functional documentation, testing plans, and system configurations
• Monitor system performance and support performance tuning efforts
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, minimum of 7 years of progressive systems analyst experience, including work with PeopleSoft ERP modules
• Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft data tables and configurations, Application Engine, Query Manager, and SQL scripting
• Proven ability to analyze business needs and deliver system solutions
• Experience leading projects from planning through execution
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts and lead initiatives
• Knowledge of IT systems and services in a large, complex organization (higher education experience a plus)
• Familiarity with process improvement and re-engineering methodologies
