Go Fractional is seeking an Equity Specialist for Product Engineering to act as the subject matter expert on equity compensation. You will bridge Product Management and Software Engineering to ensure plans are accurately reflected in system design, with a focus on compliance and reporting.

The role requires CEP Level 3, 5+ years in equity compensation, and strong collaboration with engineering and product teams. Remote USA options exist, with a global compliance focus.

Qualifications

• CEP Level 3 is required.
• 5+ years in equity compensation administration or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of global equity plan structures and ASC 718.
• Experience with software development teams or platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Jira/Confluence).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex rules into technical specs.
• Bonus: data modeling, APIs, or SaaS equity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as equity domain expert for engineering and product teams.
• Define functional requirements for equity management features (grant administration, vesting, tax, reporting).
• Translate equity plan rules into clear specifications for development.
• Validate designs to ensure ASC 718, tax, and global equity compliance.
• Collaborate with QA to create equity-focused test cases.
• Guide sprint planning to prioritize equity-related features.
• Advise on data structures, integrations, and reporting needs for equity plans.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise roadmap updates.
• Provide training on equity concepts and compliance.
