Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Equipment Systems Application Engineer to support the construction sales team with pre- and post-sales activities on building systems and equipment opportunities.

This role can be remote, with responsibilities including system configuration validation, selection for basis of design, bidding, and scope of design. You will also develop detailed engineering submittals and manage project P&L to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio) and Adobe Writer.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and limited estimating for Account Execs during project design or proposal phase.
• Assist in developing customer rationale for the conceptual solution.
• Prepare proposals and quotes with detailed takeoffs and specifications.
• Coordinate project schedules with customers to ensure timely delivery.
