Johnson Controls is seeking a highly motivated HVAC Equipment Systems Application Engineer to support the development and execution of building systems and equipment projects. The role covers pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

Based in Indianapolis with a hybrid work model, the candidate will collaborate with branch leadership, account executives, and internal teams to optimize equipment selections, design validation, estimates, and bid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Nitro PDF writer or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of thermodynamics and HVAC principles.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical application support, equipment selection, and estimating assistance for project opportunities.
• Manage equipment projects from order release through startup and project closeout; ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate project schedules, backlog, forecasting, and vendor activities; review schedules and change orders.
• Develop engineered submittals by reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications; ensure compliance with standards.
