Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC is seeking an Equipment Solutions Consultant to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory. The role requires daily travel to customers and prospect sites to secure contacts and determine needs that our products and services can solve.

The ESC will assist in solution design, equipment selection, margin setting, and presenting the solution. A three-month forecast and CRM maintenance are required to drive growth and profitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2-5 years of relevant industrial outside sales experience.
• Three or more years’ previous sales experience with an industrial sales and service organization.
• Prefer experience in the compressed air industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Develop relationships with new prospects to win new business.
• Conduct follow-ups to understand customer needs and address issues.
• Provide expert advice and solutions on compressed air equipment and systems.
• Deliver equipment proposals and presentations to decision-makers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and close sales agreements.
