Job summary

Jobot seeks an Epic Research Applications Analyst for a fully remote role in the Los Angeles area. The candidate will design and optimize APeX-based workflows for clinical research teams, building SmartForms, recruitment messages, and e-Consents to fit research needs.

You will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and IT to ensure robust research study management, BPAs, order sets, and study enrollment interfaces operate smoothly and securely, with rigorous testing and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Optimize research operations within APeX by analyzing and refining documentation, workflows, and system configurations to boost efficiency and usability for clinical research teams.
• Resolve research end-user issues by researching, documenting, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure quick and effective solutions that address root causes.
• Design and maintain key Epic features such as SmartForms, MyChart Recruitment Messages, and e-Consents to ensure they meet the specific workflow requirements of research and clinical teams, fostering seamless integration and functionality.
• Configure and optimize Best Practice Advisories (BPAs), SmartSets, and OrderSets to enhance clinical research workflows, ensuring documentation is precise, efficient, and aligned with research objectives.
• Provide troubleshooting and ongoing support for Research Study Management and Enrollment interfaces, coordinating with technical teams to ensure seamless system integration and minimize disruptions to research workflows.
• Proactively identify potential risks within research-related processes, designing and implementing APeX-based solutions to mitigate issues before they impact workflows or data integrity.
• Develop comprehensive test scenarios and conduct rigorous testing to verify that system functionality meets operational requirements and supports user workflows as intended.
