Intermountain Health is seeking a Staff Analyst for remote support of healthcare applications, including Epic EHR and related systems. The role involves planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing these applications to meet operational needs.

Experience with Epic Procedural Orders and certified Epic credentials are preferred. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and on-call support as needed, with standard 8–5 hours and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Staff Analyst provides technical support, configuration, and maintenance for healthcare applications throughout their lifecycle.
• Role may manage small projects related to these applications and maintain necessary certifications (e.g., Epic).
• Essential functions are performed independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and diagnose problems to determine resolutions.
• Translate requirements into design and development specifications; provide product management input.
• Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain systems and applications.
• Document workflow changes and technical designs to support business needs.
• Collaborate with external vendors for integration and support of third-party apps.
• Handle common incidents per agreed service levels and department standards.
• Act as PM for small to mid-size projects with multiple teams.
• Work with peers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer.
• Follow documentation and change-management standards.
• Contribute to training materials for end users and staff.
• Configure integration of hardware with software to meet client specs.
• Develop and understand reporting needs for end users.
• Participate in on-call and command center tasks where applicable.
• Assist in testing plans and scripts to verify system outputs.
• Attend team and project meetings to improve information flow.
• Coordinate with the project requester to deliver MVP via ServiceHub.
• Request resources for projects using ServiceHub.
