Job summary

Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice is seeking an Epic Denials Management Coordinator to support hospital denials management and back-end RCM services. This primarily remote role includes minimal scheduled onsite time and some travel as needed.

You will review denials, craft appeals, rebill claims, and document activities in EMR and payer portals, collaborating with hospital stakeholders and payers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in hospital denial management and appeals.
• Experience using Epic Resolute Hospital Billing.
• BS/BA in IT, business, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review denials and perform categorization and root-cause analysis.
• Develop denial appeal letters and submit to payers using templates.
• Rebill corrected claims and route issues to appropriate teams.
• Document denial work in EMR and patient accounting systems.
• Follow up on AR aging and payer requirements to adjudicate claims.
