Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a qualified professional to optimize Epic-based workflows including Clindoc and Grand Central. The role requires building and validating functional specs, supporting change management, and training end users in clinical and business processes.

You'll coordinate configurations, testing, and documentation, while maintaining strong communication with health care application users and vendors. Remote options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, and documentation.
• Must obtain within 6 months EPIC certification(s) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Prepare documentation using data flow diagrams, models and diagrams to present analyses.
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications and prioritize based on business needs.
• Configure systems to meet business needs and develop test plans and scripts.
• Develop training materials and train users and trainers as appropriate.
• Monitor system functionality and institute changes as needed; support users.
